Setting Up Eudora 5.0

• Open Eudora 5.0.
• Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
• You will see several icons on the left. Select Getting Started.
• Enter the following:
  • The Real name is the name you want people to see when they get email from you.
  • The Return address is the address you want replies to go to (usually the same as your email address, username@yourdomain.com).
  • The POP (or incoming mail server) should be mail.yourdomain.com.
  • The Login Name should be your account's username (all in lower case).
  • The SMTP server should be mail.yourdomain.com (all in lower case).
  • There should be a check in the Allow Authentication field. Leave the check there. If you do not see a check in the box, click on the box with your mouse until a check appears.
• Click OK.
